Welcome to Miami. [Thursday, Jun. 19th, 2008|12:33 pm]
The richest girl in town.
First things first: it's typical June weather, hot and rainy, the room Robbie and I are sharing at UM has a dead palmetto bug in the corner, and I just met botattack--he works for the Miami Workers Center and is leading the media training I'm about to go into. Who knew?

More later.

Greetings from New Orleans

temps are in the mid nineties, humid as all hell and every day finds at least three new dead cockroaches in any of the rooms of my house. Luckily, the cats are the ones making the kills but each day, new surprises await.

Re: Greetings from New Orleans

roach-free? In New Orleans? You must be on the outskirts of Jefferson or something? ;) Can you believe how merciful this summer has been? I pinch myself, some days...
