Gorgeous! I can see her in you. :)
Also, mindpower is a great thing, but there's a lot to be said for sending a friend over with a mallet. Just sayin'.

And I know where she lives!
She moved, actually. I'd have to do some recon to find her new place.
I can be there in one hour and twenty minutes, just sayin.
Damn, you lot a lot like her. Maybe it's the almost-smirky set of the mouth?
And you're right. She was a gorgeous lady recently (I love the photo of the two of you), and there's something about this photo that just shines.
Beauty is right.
and strong, too. wonderful photograph.
She is beautiful. I can see so much of her in you.
Yes. Beautiful. What grace.
Echoing the above, the resemblance is uncanny.
Yes. Yes, she does.
I vote for blow dart in the neck, followed by massive beat down with soap in a sock. But that is just me.
That works. But it would mean going to Springfield, Illinois, and who wants that?
True, but hey, I live in Lynchburg, VA, so suckage is all relative to me, you know?

those are the sorts of things you just do in your head and it'll make you feel better
Make your great aunt listen to bad "hold" music while you talk to her :)
No, not nearly enough blood that way.
I have a lot of repressed aggression that is constantly looking for an outlet. Would you like me to punch her for you?
B-b-but I have a lot of repressed aggression. Mostly, I work it out by driving through the city with low blood sugar. But this time I want her veins in my teeth.
"and we were both jumping up and down yelling "Kiyull! Kiyull!"
and the sgt came over, pinned a medal on me and said "You're our boy".
Oh I wouldn't take the opportunity from you. I just figured if you were too busy.. ;-)
This is a beautiful picture, by the way. You get the sense that she knows something that the photographer doesn't.
lovely. i've been wanting to punch folks through the phone a lot today, technology should catch up to the demand for this.
amazing resemblance!!! beautiful ladies, are and always will be.
how old is she in this picture?
40s, I think? I think this was taken after my mom was born. (She had my mom two weeks before her 42nd birthday.)
more evidence that the 40s rock.
Double-checked--this is from her second wedding. She was 55!
what. you will be gorgeous forever just like your grandmother.
Lovely--and I can totally see the family resemblance.
she is incredibly beautiful. i see you in her face so much.
what a gorgeous photo! she looks so strong and just a little bit coy here. just like someone i know :)
sending you all my love, sweets. please know that you're in my thoughts right now.
You two look so alike. I am deeply sorry for your loss, but glad she had people like you in her life.
Drop me an email. I sent one, but not sure if it went through!
Sending lots of love yours and your fam's way!
er, that was meant to be a comment to the post, not to a comment. silly lj.
your aunt lives in bumgfuck springfield IL... so every moment is like a punch in the throat, me thinks.
She looks sharp, mischievous and beautiful. I'll also echo what some others have said already, there's something about her expression, particularly around the jaw and mouth, that looks a lot like you.
she's very elegant.
i think your mouth looks like hers.
and sadly, death brings out the worst in our worst relatives. i wish you luck and patience. and a magical fist that works through the phone.
Beautiful. What a wonderful person to have in your life.
