Just remember, on the life stress scale, moving is only about half as likely to affect your health as the death of a close friend! (I think it should distinguish between local and long-distance though, personally.)

Long distance moves are rough. :(
For me, it was all about lists and managing lists. And planning a week or 2 of doing nothing on arrival, once the bed was unpacked.
