Today was long, but now I'm home and antsy after Day 2 of the training, which really felt like Doorknocking 101. I've done this already. I may not have enough experience to get the job I wanted, but I've got too much to be sitting in a room with college students who've never done any organizing work.
And I got a $50 parking ticket for an expired meter in Bayview. Oh, well.
But, hey, at least I can turn my head today. I don't feel perfect--there are still some sore spots--but I'm so much better. And I'll see my chiro again on Monday, which should help get out the last few kinks.
The final six hours of the training tomorrow, a little time to work on my new number for Monday night's Hubba Hubba Revue at the Uptown, and then I'm going to see Blue Scholars at Slim's with conditionbronze. Not the world's most exciting weekend, but it'll do.
