What is the multi-chat client of choice these days for PC? Is it still|
Trillian or has something later and greater come out since I went the way of
we just moved over to Pidgin at work - and i have to say, other than the logo being a concussed-looking pigeon, it works really dang well.
it can have connection issues if you're on a big office network with multiple entry points or load balancing routers, but other than that, it's really quite impressive, in terms of supported features and protocols, and it's updated regularly.

That would seem to me like one of those "feature, not a bug" things....
under Windows 7, icons in the taskbar at the bottom are larger.... so, he stares at you. and stares at you.

I use Adium. Works great on my Mac.
Yeah, that's what I use at home, but I'm on a PC in the office....

pidgin is actually the PC version of adium. so we're all in agreement either way!
(i'm liking adium a lot more than i liked pidgin since i switched platforms, for what it's worth.)
i see you've got multiple suggestions for pidgen, but just in case -- when i briefly used a windows machine last year, i installed digsby
which i liked.
